Her real estate career began in 1982 in Toronto, over time moved to Mississauga, Cambridge Kitchener Waterloo areas. Over the years she received many awards for outstanding performance, sales achievements,

Darlene, after a break in real estate, has successfully completed a comprehensive program of study through the Ontario Real Estate College program, and is pleased to be licensed in a profession she loves so much.
 
Now living in Bruce County she brings with her an extensive referral network providing even greater exposure for potential buyers and sellers.

  • Is designed to meet the practical demands of today’s residential marketplace.
  • Emphasizes drafting skills for agency documents, residential agreements of purchase and sale (including condominium), and agreements to lease.
  • Follows the entire residential real estate transaction from initial listing to final negotiations and closing. You will encounter real-life scenarios demanding skills in offer preparation, counter-offers, clause writing, mortgage financing, and the use of standardized forms and procedures

is intended to assist you in understanding what is expected of you, and how you can perform efficiently and effectively in your role. 

  • Describe how organized real estate is structured and the responsibilities of each level of organization
  • Identify the characteristics of not-for-profit organizations
  • Demonstrate your knowledge of the various leadership roles and responsibilities in a real estate board/association and how real estate boards/associations are governed
  • Explain the responsibilities of volunteer committee/task force members
  • Describe how elected/appointed leaders work with association staff
  • Apply the concepts of meeting management, effective discussion and debate, and decision making in your role as a volunteer committee member
  • Understand how decisions are made, who makes them, and what process is used to carry out these decisions

Commercial Real Estate Course Completed
  • Focus is on basic investment decisions and the fundamentals of buyer/seller representation including proposals and marketing  strategies
  • Emphasis is on discussions and exercises, which include specialty areas such as retail and office leasing, sale of businesses, and industrial real estate
 Teranet Certificate Course Completed
  • Land Registry Service Training course.  the history of land registration in Ontario as well as instruct you on the use of the GeoWarehouse product.
  • Be familiar with the background of the Land Registration System in Ontario.
  • Understand the characteristics of the GeoWarehouse online service and be able to access the land registration data using a variety of tools.
  • Be able to generate and interpret a number of reports.
Principals of Appraisal Real Estate Course Completed 
  • This course provides an understanding of valuation theory and is designed to develop registrants' ability to evaluate property in the course of trading activities.
